HOW LOCALS ARE LIVING IN CAPPADOCIA

Generally, Daily life in cappadocia is kind of similar to other cities in Anatolian regions cities of Turkey. But with the difference of living in a area that has deep history.

Work life for locals is similar to other cities but tourism field is lot more popular in here Especially in the fairychimney regions. Jobs like balloon pilot etc. is not exist in other regions in Turkey, except from Pamukkale. Also running a hotel, travel agency type of jobs are also a little bit more popular than the other areas.

But in city center parts like Nevsehir, peoples are working in their own shops or for governmental jobs etc. Basically its pretty similar to any other city. Cappadocia has 2 universities and if you want to study in tourism field, Cappadocia may be a good option.

For night life, since Cappadocia area is a little bit conservative, clubs or barsa re not that common. But still, there are a few places that you can go. But still, I suggest you to be cautious and visit trustworthy night clubs and bars Also during the time that you spend in Turkey, you can visit Turkish taverns too.
